Spring had most definitely arrived for D & J, it was a crisp fresh beautiful morning, bathed in glorious sunshine. The couple could not have asked for a better day, probably the hottest day of the year so far, The chosen destination for the wedding was Chenies Manor, situated in the heart of the Chilterns with St Michael’s Church being all of 2 minute’s walk out of the estate, and straight into the grounds of the small intimate village Church.

Everyone was relaxed, excited and enjoying the morning preparation, whilst waiting for the bride to walk the short distance from the house to the Church. Ceremony over, it was back to the house for the newlywed couple and into the stunning gardens of Chenies Manor. The sun was out and the guests were spoilt with a lovely spring day for champagne and canapes.

The Reception and Speeches were held in a marquee on the side of the house, light and airy, nicely dressed with a touch of green that added to the spring feeling. Formalities over, it was an opportunity for D & J to relax and an opportunity to walk the ground for a quick photoshoot whilst the guests mingled and enjoyed the surrounding gardens.

The evening finished off with music, fun, love and laughter with the added bonus of a Mexican tapas-style street food van which became very popular once the evening guests arrived.

Chenies Manor is on the outskirts of Rickmansworth and is a fabulous location to be married.
