I wanted photos taken in the English countryside with old buildings and Mark went above and beyond every step of the way. When I initially emailed him he quickly got back to us with location suggestions, which was incredibly helpful since we weren't familiar with the area. He was incredibly communicative and professional through the whole process and accommodating with us traveling. He drove us well over an our outside of Oxford, essentially acted as a tour guide, and took amazing pictures of us. The whole process was so seamless and I'm so happy with how everything worked out. We had a lovely morning taking couple photos across the city and in colleges while the centre was still quiet before meeting up with our witnesses and heading to the registration office. He made us all feel super relaxed and comfortable, suggested some fantastic poses and spots, and was always happy to accommodate some impromptu ideas and requests, such as taking a few film photos on an old camera. Mark made sure that we would end up with a whole range of different photos of stellar quality and outstanding artistic style, some posed, some candid, more intimate, and more formal, in colour and in black-and-white. We were so impressed by him stamina, his friendliness, organisation and professionalism and absolutely love the photos he took! We had a Zoom meeting initially and he also met us again the week of the wedding to do a walk through of our venues which we really appreciated. We were overjoyed he took so many pictures, and he got them back to us very quickly too. We are so grateful for him and the fabulous job he did. Absolutely not, I think to take wedding photos for a friend must seem like a huge responsibility but he was so professional and put us so at ease, he talked it all through before the wedding to understand what we wanted, which was not not too formal. He listened and he suggested ideas and then he captured this perfectly and even continued to take amazing shots at the reception where he was actually supposed to just be there at that point as a guest, he captured the mood of the party fantastically, we are so pleased with the photos and everyone that we show them to loves them. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of questions—and I’m here to make things simple. Below you’ll find answers to the most common queries couples ask me, from booking and coverage to style and delivery. If there’s anything else you’re wondering, just drop me a message - I’m always happy to help.

Can We meet you?

I'd love to meet you before you book. Whether it's a relaxed chat over coffee or a Zoom call, it's important that you feel confident and comfortable with your photographer. This is your chance to ask questions, share your plans, and get a feel for how I work. No pressure, just a friendly conversation to see if I'm the right fit. Let me know what suits you best and we’ll get something in the diary.

Do you travel?

Absolutely - I’m based just outside of Bicester, and while most of my work takes place across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, and neighbouring counties, I’m always happy to travel further afield.

How do we book?

Once we’ve had a chat - whether in person or over Zoom—and you’re happy to go ahead, I’ll send over a digital quote and contract. Signing that, along with a small non-refundable booking fee, officially secures your date in my diary.

How Would You Describe Your Style of Photography?

I’m a documentary/photojournalistic wedding photographer with a storytelling approach that captures the day as it genuinely unfolds - unscripted, unstaged, and full of emotion. My focus is on documenting real moments and authentic interactions, allowing you and your guests to simply be yourselves. While I do include couple portraits and group shots, they form a small, intentional part of the day, ensuring the heart of the story remains candid and true

What if it rains?

Rainy days can be just as beautiful as sunny ones - sometimes even more atmospheric. I'll adapt to the conditions and keep capturing your day as it unfolds. If you’re up for a little adventure, rain can add a unique charm to your photos that you’ll love forever.

Do you take Group Shots?

Absolutely. While my style is primarily photojournalistic - focused on capturing candid, unscripted moments - I understand how important group portraits are to many couples. I include them as part of the day, and with a little planning, we can make the process smooth and efficient. I always recommend appointing a guest to help gather people for each group. This helps us move quickly and ensures we don’t lose too much time during the drinks reception. My goal is to get the group shots you want without compromising the natural flow of the day.

How many photo's will we receive?

You’ll receive between 400 and 500 carefully edited images, depending on the coverage and flow of your day. I deliver two identical galleries - one in colour and one in black & white so that you can enjoy your wedding story in both vibrant detail and timeless tones. I always aim to deliver your full gallery within four weeks, often sooner.

Do you offer videography services?

While I focus solely on photography, I've worked alongside a number of talented videographers and can arrange a joint package. Just let me know you're interested, and I’ll be happy to build a combined package that suits your plans.

Are you insured?

I’m fully insured with public liability cover. If your venue requires proof of insurance from suppliers, I’m happy to provide a certificate upon request - just let me know and I’ll send it over.
